Job Title: Painter & Decorator

Job Overview:
The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for painting, decorating, and maintaining various surfaces within residential and commercial properties. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
– Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
– Mix and match paint colors to ensure consistency and accuracy
– Repair and patch any damaged areas before painting to ensure a smooth finish
– Follow safety procedures and guidelines when working with paints and other materials
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
– 1 year of experience as a Painter & Decorator or similar role
– Proven knowledge of different painting techniques and finishes
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship
– Strong communication skills
– Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods and lift heavy equipment
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Certification in painting or a related field is a plus, but not required
– Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment
– Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in the painting industry
