Job Description: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting with cost estimates, quantity take-offs, pricing, and contractual matters.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in preparing cost estimates and budget plans.
– Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bill of quantities.
– Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotes and pricing.
– Assist in preparing and negotiating contracts.
– Assist in monitoring project costs and variations.
– Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
– Proficient in quantity take-off techniques and cost estimation.
– Strong analytical and numerical skills.
– Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, AutoCAD, and estimating software.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
